First accredited foot golf course in North Dakota!
Mandan Parks and Recreation’s Mandan Municipal Golf Course has an exclusive new offering! In addition to the 9 hole golf course, Mandan Municipal will offer a certified AFGL FootGolf Course!
FootGolf is a relatively new precision sport that requires players to kick a soccer ball into a cup by using as few attempts as possible. FootGolf, which combines elements found on a soccer field with those found on a golf course, is quickly growing.
The Mandan Municipal FootGolf will open on September 1, 2017. This is the first accredited FootGolf course in North Dakota! The new course consists of 18 AFGL certified FootGolf holes, with two sets of tees to match any skill level. The cost is $10 for 18 holes.

No Soccer Cleats. Golf or Athletic shoes recommended.
Your ball must be easy to identify.
Kick off your ball from a position up to 2 meters behind the tee markers.
Review the scorecard and wait for your turn. Make sure your kick will not interfere with other players.
The ball must be played in a single movement. You cannot to push the ball with the top or bottom of your foot.
Wait to play until the ball has come to rest. You may not stop a moving ball.
Play the ball as it lies. You may mark your ball and lift when on the green.
The order of play is based on the score from the previous hole. The furthest out is the first to kick the ball.
Water hazard the penalty is retrieve it and place within 2 steps of where it went in – 1 stroke penalty.
Out of Bounds the penalty is replace it where it was kicked before – 1 stroke penalty.
Pace of play standard is keeping up with the group in front of you.
